It was okay

I'm not sure if ebooks have editors, but it sure didn't seem like it in this case. The author seems to write in a stream of consciousness and run-on sentences, complete with verbal ticks (a lot of "likes" in this book.)
The chapters are each titled "here's the part where I..." and continues with whatever that chapter is about. It seems like a very lazy way to avoid having to make the story flow. And it really doesn't flow. Very disjointed and lacking in details.
I purchased this book after hearing the author on a podcast I listen to regularly and was hoping it would be insightful or at least funny (based on the title) but didn't particularly enjoy it. At least it helped pass some of the time on a flight.

Great coming of age piece and abstractly relatable

I enjoyed Molly's honesty told in her voice and despite the wildness of the story, she narrated in a way that was relatable for people who have faced a similar journey. The story is unique and the personal lessons are concocted in hilarious anecdotes. The book adds depth to a typical millennial journey without being too showboaty or trying too hard. Lovely book!

Slippery slopes

I too was much taken with Molly's honesty and I thought the read flowed very well. I felt like I was sitting in the same room listening to her tell her story. As a middle aged guy who has been down this road and continues to struggle, I found this book to be a lifeline back to the top of the slippery slope I was insanely approaching again. One thing that I have learned over the years is that such struggles are intensely personal and a lifelong journey, and I would urge anyone who would understand more about such things to read this book.
