I think this is a nice book for poking fun

I think this is a nice book for poking fun, but it didn't hold the answers I was seeking to decoding my dreams. This was more like reading a fortune cookie. I do not recommend if you are seriously looking for answers and biblical interpretation of your dreams.

FUN to use! Makes a great gift too. I got if for my mom, she loves it. Just a suggestion though: DON'T share this with anyone you know to be very superstitious or easily paranoid. This dream dictionary is definitely not all sunshine and rainbows!!! Still very entertaining. You won't believe how MUCH is in here... millions of definitions. It really seems like *almost* (but not quite) anything anyone could dream up is in here. Again it's really fun to use, gives you something good to talk about every time you remember anything about your dreams from the night before. :)

The Heroes gigantic debauchery completely put me off!

I would give this book more stars, if not for the fact the Hero was a total manh*re on a monumental proportions! I am not kidding! The things he did with all those strippers in his house in that bed were disgusting! Add the fact heroine never slept with anyone for 7 years because she loved him so much and he was swimming in women's skirt for all that time is not very romantic nor equal! I want fairness, I want my heroine enjoining sexual life and not holding back where the hero on the other hand is having sex with anyone that moves! This is not sexy not desirable! This is a contemporary romance, hence it should inspire equality and not encourage double standards! Why is the heroine untouched to show the dept of love for the hero, but he cannot have the same for her?...I admit the author made the Hero hard to like.. He calls heroine a "bi*ch" on numerous times and i cannot imagine my significant other calling me that nor I want to read that in my romantic escapism!

WOW! This book is a series, and I for one can’t wait for book two!! These two, Natasha and Josh are combustible to say the least. They both have insecurities, and tempers that get the best of them. With demons of their unforbidden relationship, it’s really taking Josh on a journey he really doesn’t want to deal with! Natasha and her sister, Bridget are two of the funniest characters! They are what sisters should be, honest, and have each other’s backs, no matter what.

Natasha has to deal with her untold truths to Josh, and with being a Psychologist she has the tools; however when dealing with your own issues it’s harder than dealing with her clients issues. This page turner had me enthralled for the first page. This is sexy, erotic and intelligent; not to mention laugh out loud at the antics all the characters get up too. Buckle up, and get ready for a thrilling ride; it’s one I want to continue.

Omg what a cliffhanger. I need the next book right now!!! I cannot tell you how much I loved this book. I've been sitting her tryin to find the perfect words to describe this story. Mystery, passion, heartache, heartbreak, hot sex, dirty talking, alpha male, love, secrets, and yes possible incest. Holy cow this book is full of everything. I literally could not put it down. Natasha and Josh have been above since they were teenagers. And neither of them have been able to find that kind of love since then. Now seven years later they are reunited. And let me tell you the fireworks are astounding. This book will blow you away. Amazing. Truly amazing!

It's a great beginning

Having taught costume design for a number of years, the one thing I can say with certainty is that no book can do everything. I've used the text for a number of years and find it helpful...especially her approach to analyzing the text (I still use her checklists myself). However, a lot of my students are intimidated by some of the illustrations/examples of work. They don't know how to approach sketching for themselves and there are a couple of other texts that are more helpful in aiding in that particular process. Possibly there could be more graphic illustrations of getting from A to D (show us B & C) instead of just the beginning and the end result. The historical research sources and the historical costume outline are good - again some of my students think that she provides a finite list of resources and as with any historical survey the attention is to avoid variations and or anything beyond high fashion. Generally, a strong introductory text but needs supplementary materials (as does any book). No one has complained about the text; that's a good sign.

As a college student I was first introduced to the book The Magic Garment: Principles of Costume Design by Rebecca Cunningham. The book is simple and consise while providing a wealth of valuable information for the novice or professional. I enjoyed this book so much that I have choosen to use it as the text book for my costume design class. This will be my first teaching experience; however, I feel confident that this book will enable me to help my class understand the art of costume design.

The class I took was geared solely towards the stage costume designer and so is this book. Still it is very usefull to those who desire to work in film.

This is the required book for my College Art History class. Well chosen pictures for each chapter. From what I can tell, there's very little difference between this and the 9th edition. WARNING: Do not leave a banana in your back pack with this book. I forgot I had one packed in there, and it got old and leaked moldy banana juice ALL over the bottom corner of this book. Completely killed the resale value. Now I feel sick every time I start to read it.

I purchased this text for a History of Western Art class. It is well organized, containing significant information, lovely photos, chapter summaries, and a time-line chart for each chapter. It provides me exactly the information I was seeking and is written in a way I can easy absorb and retain the information presented.

Very detailed book and useful for my art history class. Helped me understand the different art periods and had great pictures to go along with it. I mostly forgot everything now haha, but it was a very good book, great condition, and arrived on time!

About the Author

ASHOK SOM is Professor of Global Strategy in the Management Department at ESSEC Business School, Paris-Singapore. He is the founder of the India Research Center, was the Founding Associate Dean of the Global MBA program, and the founder of the Global Management Programs on Luxury and Retail Management (in partnership with Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, India.

CHRISTIAN BLANCKAERT is the Chairman of Petit-Bateau. He is also the Senior Advisor of Eurazeo and a board member of Moncler and Champagne Piper-Heidseick. He has previously served as Executive Vice President of Hermes International from 1996 to 2009.

Excellent book on the luxury business!

This book is the book on the luxury business hat we have all been waiting for. Big brands and small luxury brands alike will learn so much on the inner workings of the luxury business and how the big players now employed marketing strategies to gain their current positions in the industry. Being a fine jeweller, I have been looking for suitable courses on luxury management. Thankfully, this book has it all - historical data on brands (Hermes, etc), case studies and empirical data on marketing strategies that have succeeded and failed, and the current movements in ownerships and alliances between brands. All of these enrich my own business strategies. This is a must read for all entrepreneurs venturing in the paradoxical world of luxury. One teeny tiny thing to improve on is the editing of the book - it had so many grammatical errors! Nevertheless, I can't wait for an expanded and updated version of this book. I love it!!!
